Fee Structure:

The College Search Expert has various service options with different fee structures. Services can be arranged on an hourly basis as well as in a comprehensive package.

Consulting Service Plans

 

 COLLEGE CONSULTING PLAN I– For 11th and 12th graders

---

In-depth interview/questionnaire on college preferences of both student and parent
Review of academic records such as academic transcript, standardized tests, and related documents
Identification of student’s strengths, interests, learning patterns, and learning goals through various inventories, as deemed necessary
Preparation of a tailored list of colleges that is uniquely suited to the student, classified by low, medium, and high chance of acceptance
Use of proprietary software for college application organization and calendars of due dates
Essay topic brainstorming and editing of college essays (time allows for 2 drafts of 2 college essays)
Testing recommendations (SAT or ACT, SAT II, when to schedule, is test prep necessary, etc.)
Recommendations for extracurricular involvement and summer activities
Advice on making successful college visits before, during, and after the visits

 

COLLEGE CONSULTING PLAN II - For 11th and 12th graders

---

Includes all services in Plan I above, PLUS:

Workshop for generating essay ideas that helps the student stand out on their college  application
Essay topic brainstorming and editing of college admission essays (time allows for up to 6 essays)
Use of proprietary software that organizes and minimizes the total number of required essays to be written
Editing of the activities résumé for the college application and internships
Assistance with making the final choice when college offer letters are received

 

COMPREHENSIVE COLLEGE CONSULTING PLAN - For 11th and 12th graders

Includes all services in College Consulting Plan II above, PLUS:

Significant additional time spent to strategize and structure essays
UNLIMITED editing of college essays

 

COLLEGE CONSULTING PLAN - For 9th and 10th graders

---

Review of academic records such as academic transcript, standardized tests, and related documents

Review of student objectives and plan to achieve goals
Course selection advice
